STENCILING

For murals and border designs, stencils can be used to achieve life-like effects called Trompe L'Oeil or "fool the eye".

Beautiful effects can be created by embedding a stenciled design in between layers of plaster. Stencils are effective for overall uniform design work.

I use commercial stencils and often hand-cut custom designed stencils in combination with other faux finishes to create unique works of art.
